Walmart holiday return policy 2026: how long you have
Walmart has not published a 2026 holiday return window yet. Until it does, the standard policy applies to anything you buy now, and last year the store extended returns: Oct 1 to Dec 31, 2025 purchases returnable until Jan 31, 2026.

Black Friday and gift returns, in practice
The extended date applies to the purchase date on the receipt, not the day the gift was opened. Keep the receipt or the order email with the gift; a gift receipt usually returns for store credit rather than cash. Electronics, activatable devices and marketplace sellers are the usual exceptions, so check the table above before relying on the extended date.
