Costco holiday return policy 2026: how long you have
Costco does not run a separate holiday return window. Most merchandise has no time limit, so there is nothing to extend. The 90-day window on electronics and major appliances is not extended for the holidays.

Black Friday and gift returns, in practice
The extended date applies to the purchase date on the receipt, not the day the gift was opened. Keep the receipt or the order email with the gift; a gift receipt usually returns for store credit rather than cash. Electronics, activatable devices and marketplace sellers are the usual exceptions, so check the table above before relying on the extended date.
